Farm & Field Fencing

Farm & Field Fencing

Practical fencing for acreage, pasture and property lines. Field fence, woven wire and rail built for rural Hancock County.

Home / Services / Farm & Field Fencing

Out here, a fence has a job to do — contain livestock, mark a boundary across acreage, or keep wildlife out of a garden or orchard. We’ve been fencing rural Hancock County properties since 1987 and know how to run a straight line across a long, uneven field and set corners that won’t pull loose under tension.

We install woven and field wire, high-tensile, welded wire, and split-rail and post-and-rail for that classic country look. From a few hundred feet of garden protection to long pasture and boundary runs, we’ll spec the right fence for the animals and the land.

The Details

Corners and bracing make a farm fence last

Long wire runs live and die by their corners. If the end and corner posts aren’t braced properly, the whole line goes slack. We build proper H-braces and set corners deep so your fence stays tight across the seasons and under the pull of a long run. On rolling ground we follow the grade and keep the wire consistent.

Tell us what you’re keeping in — or out — and how much ground you’re covering, and we’ll put together a straight, honest estimate.

Good Questions

Frequently Asked

What kind of fence is best for livestock?
It depends on the animals — woven wire and high-tensile suit cattle and horses, while tighter field fence handles smaller stock. We’ll match the fence to what you’re containing.
Can you fence a large acreage property?
Yes — we handle long boundary and pasture runs across rural Hancock County and the surrounding area, with properly braced corners for long-line tension.
Do you install split-rail fence?
We do — split-rail and post-and-rail give that classic country look for boundaries, driveways and horse properties.
Can you add gates for equipment access?
Absolutely — wide drive and access gates for tractors and equipment are part of most farm fence jobs.
