Our Story
Nearly 40 years of fence line
Armitage Fence has been building fence in Greenfield and across Hancock County since 1987. We’re not a franchise or a national outfit — we’re a local, family-run crew, and most of our work still comes from repeat customers and their referrals.
Over that time we’ve set fence around new-construction backyards, historic downtown homes, farms, pool areas, storage yards and storefronts. We’ve specialized in chain link and privacy fencing, but we’ve built just about every kind of fence there is, in every material. That experience means we can look at your yard and tell you honestly what will work, what won’t, and what’s worth the money.
What hasn’t changed since 1987 is how we work: show up when we say, set posts solid, keep the lines straight, clean up after ourselves and stand behind it. That’s it. That’s the whole pitch.
